halloween happenings...

ok - to recap the past few days (aside from john's big "catch")...

thursday after school, tony and i headed over to the reiffton school to watch the exeter marching band, football team and cheerleaders participate in a parade and bonfire (the "boone" fire) pep rally to gear up for the friday night halloween game against exeter's big rival, daniel boone. any excuse to to see/hear the marching band is a good enough excuse for t-man and i!!

we waited patiently with harry b. and it wasn't too long after we arrived that we heard the drums and soon saw the flags...

then, harry b, nee nee and poppop got cold and headed home, while tony and i got our spot and waited for the bonfire to get the torch!!

following the bonfire, tony turned into tigger for some trick-or-treating.

our last stop of the evening was to our friend's john and amy's home where we were greeted by johnny in his costume!! the man is a ham for the camera!!

friday brought tony's first halloween party and parade at his new school! i was able to work a 1/2 day so i could go and help out with the kids in the afternoon and get everyone ready for the parade. it was also our friend troy's first year for the party and parade too. tony is tigger and troy is a little devil!

friday's trick-or-treating was short lived for tony as after one scary mask incident and only two houses, he all but darted right into our street in front of a moving car screaming "i'm going to my house, i want to go ni-night"! of course, he didn't go to bed (it was only 6:00), but he did tear off his tigger costume never to be put back on that night. and every time the doorbell rang, he screamed and ran upstairs to pace the hallway until i told him whether or not the costume was scary. he did manage to come downstairs to greet two backyardigans and a little cheerleader. hope he gets over his "mask" fear til our next disney trip!!!

Okay, the deer is totally gross, but the tiger and monkey are awesome. Thank you for sharing your life in such a beautiful (except for the deer) way. I love your blog.

PS - How did you get "The D'Angelo Family" to appear at the end of each post?
