jannica and her son were in harrisburg to meet up with her husband who has been working at the eastern sports and outdoor show at the farm show complex all week. while reading jannica's blog on friday, i commented how it would have been cool to get together as harrisburg is only about an hour from us. i thought she had been there last week, but no! she was still in town!! we quickly made plans and i called bobbi!
it was great to finally meet her and her son owen in person after chatting with her over the past year after hopping to her blog from bobbi's. we enjoyed chocolate world and the ride and then headed to red robin for a yumm-o lunch. turns out, red robin is one of jannica's favorite restaurants (as well as mine) and bobbi had never been there...it was a good time for all. the hostess even came around and gave everyone carnations in honor of valentine's day. the boys thought that was cool and ryan was even sweet enough to get one for his baby sister!

we had a great day and can't wait to see jannica, owen and meet her husband mark on their next trip to pa for the show next year...or before on our next trip to the finger lakes...which may be sooner rather than later as i am out of my favorite, glenora bobsled red wine! hee hee!
here is a slideshow of the rest of the pictures from our fun day in hershey.

How fun! What a great picture of everyone at Red Robin (I love that place too...we ate there several years ago when we were in Hershey and Red Robin was one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane, WA during college).
What a great post!!! I am so glad it all worked out! It really made my trip! Not that the outdoor show wasn't super fun, but this was the super-est!!!!
So glad that you are getting great wear out of that outfit I got him. LOL! I think it's cool that you ladies got together! I am so ready for more wine..Luis is too! We want to go on a tour with a driver this time!
I'm not the jealous type, but I do have to admit I'm a little green that you and Bobbi met a new special friend (even though her blog is Top Secret Squirrel), I'm a little green that you met at The Sweetest Place on Earth, and I'm a little green that you ate at what is, quite possibly, the best chain restaurant in the Free World.
But, seriously, I am so happy to see something so special come out of something so fun. Congrats on the new friends. *hugs*
