all aboard

yesterday we climbed "all aboard" for steven's 4th birthday celebration...thomas the tank engine style! it was a really nice day and we were able to celebrate steven's birthday (john's brother's son) and visit with family in the process.

it was really nice to see steven enjoying his day. it was held at a park and there is always a great breeze blowing through there keeping everyone cool. he was so excited about his presents and his cake...ok, i shouldn't be surprised...who isn't excited about presents and cake??



they have a nice playground there and tony really enjoyed the slides

it was fun for john's family to see anthony and steven interacting and playing together. unfortunately even with as close as we all live to steve and angie, we don't get to see him that often so this is actually the first picture of tony and steven together that i have.

ok, now look at the two of them together...can you believe there is only 1 year difference between the 2 of them (and no, steven is not standing on his toes either)? john's brother is over 6' tall, so that probably explains a lot.

tony also enjoyed the party favors...he's really got the hang of them now!
