does this thing still work?

i'm not sure that anyone still bothers to check this thing after the 9 month hiatus i somehow took without even realizing it. thanks to my trusty google reader, i've kept up with all that my friends (both in real life and on the internet). i've done some commenting, but haven't been real great with that either...oh, but i've read each.and.every.post you all did!

we finished out a crazy 2009 and i can.not.believe that we are already more than halfway through 2010. i have sooo much to update you all on (again, if anyone is still out there).

i will try over the next few days (hopefully before we head out to vacation) to bring everyone up to speed on all that's been happening in our lives.
