gburg camping

whew - finally a minute to catch my breath since we've returned from camping. last weekend we hooked up the (new) camper and headed to drummer boy camp resort in gettysburg, pa for a weekend with corinne, dave and harry (and their new camper). we finally had a nice full weekend of beautiful, sunny, fall-like weather and not a drop of rain!! i am still in shock!

friday evening after setting up (which was easy since neen and dave arrived thursday evening), we all had some burgers and dogs by the fire and then corinne and dave got ready to head to the pub for an evening of fun (or as much fun as a pregnant gal can). corinne graduated from gettysburg college in '03 and her 5-year class reunion was this past weekend (and the reason for our trip out that way). john, tony and i watched harry and put him to bed before hanging out and spending he rest of the evening by the fire. it was so nice and relaxing!!

saturday we took our time getting up in the a.m. and then headed out after lunch to campus to attend the homecoming football game and festivities. it was a nice (ok, hot as heck) game and i actually think they ended up winning (not sure - the 3 of us left at 1/2 time while corinne and dave stayed and attended an alumni picnic afterwards). then after a much needed nap (by me and tony d) we were rejoined by corinne and dave and started preparing for dinner.

tony began his sunday morning with a little bit of tai chi yoga (at least i think that's what he was doing here)...please do not mind the outfit...he's into the "i want to do it myself" stage of dressing.
