wow - it's been one heck of a few days, but as "hump day" (wednesday) comes to a close, i can say i'm feeling much better. thanks to all of you for your supportive words and emails of encouragement...they truly mean a lot. okay, enough of the sappy stuff!
on a lighter note, i taught my first flute lesson last night. not first in my entire life, but first in a looooong time. it felt so good to be doing some teaching again! the best part of it all (and what made leaving tony d behind not be so awful) was when i walked in their front door and was greeted by the little girl whom i'll be teaching. she had a huge grin on her face and was beaming with excitement to get started. even after a 45 minute lesson of very, very beginning basics, she was still excited and that made my day (and whole week so far)!
well, gotta run...project runway is on and i have to watch (and pray) that kenley gets her tush thrown in the trash tonight!!! gosh i can't stand her. for anyone who is equally obsessed with that show, you must must must check out the blog, "project run-gay"! it's a hilarious perspective of the show from tom and lorenzo, the blog's (homosexual) owners' point of view! check it out here!

Congratulations Christy On winning the fun caption game on Bobbi's blog!
Thank you so much for your comments on my glasses. It's going to take some getting used to, but I don't have to wear them all the time.
So far, so good. I appreciate your worldy knowledge of glasses. :)
On the subject of Project Runway, I'm an soooooooooooooooo with you. I absolutely cannot stand the way that Kenley has been acting and even though I loved the idea of her personal style for the runway, her mood sucks.
I watched the show last night, and am so disappointed she's still here.
